Learn From An
Expert, Drive Like An Expert is a group of individuals and
businesses working together to provide free or low-cost advanced
driving instruction for teens.
The Program
The program teaches
advanced driving techniques, enabling young drivers to become
better equipped to handle on the road challenges they encounter.
The course offers some or all of the following:
- Driving simulator time with professional evaluation.
- Behind-the-wheel instruction with a professional
driver.
- Braking and steering during a skid.
- Re-gaining control of a vehicle during a variety of
circumstances.
- How to avoid collision.
- Maneuvering safely during hazardous weather
conditions.
Who is
Eligible?
Driving instruction is
offered to newly licensed or permit-carrying teens with a minimum
of five months driving experience. Note: this is not a prerequisite
course for obtaining a driver license.
Driving Instructors
Because no one
understands how to handle an automobile in every type of road
condition better than a trained professional, fully insured
professional race and stunt car drivers, as well as law enforcement
professionals conduct the behind-the-wheel
instruction.
